At Shining Stars Day Nursery Clare Road we are proud of our child-centred environment and positive relationships. Our little stars feel nurtured from birth, developing their skills through sensitive, individually tailored support from our team of experienced, highly qualified practitioners. The unique child is supported to construct their own learning in all areas of the Early Years curriculum; from fine and gross motor skills to phonics and mathematics. Through stimulating situations and hands-on learning opportunities, children are encouraged to develop into engaged and motivated critical and creative thinkers

Full Day
07:30 - 18:00
Monday - Friday
Depending on your family’s schedule, full days might be the right fit for you. We offer a flexible range of full days from one day to a full week. Nappies, wipes, home-cooked meals, healthy snacks, drink and your choice of formula milk are provided by us to make our parent's lives simpler! 2, 3 and 4 year old funded spaces are available in this option with a small daily charge for food.
Half day
07:30 - 13:00 13:00 - 18:00
Monday - Friday
Our half day sessions tend to fill up fast - so if you’re interested, get in touch today to visit and reserve a space for your child. Feel free to give us a call with any questions!

Our Mission
Nurture and learning
We believe that children thrive in an environment which values their uniqueness whilst providing support and opportunities to grow emotionally, socially and creatively. A space where babies and children feel a sense of belonging developed through an unwavering culture of positive regard. Children have access to a programme of phonics, handwriting and mathematics delivered through play and development is supported by our nutritionally balanced, home-cooked menu. By building on each child’s strengths, interests and curiosities we guide each child to explore the world around them, develop new abilities and form close relationships.
